Maybe in near future we will see some innovations in frame design caused by technical innovations as seen on google glasses.
Embedded cameras and navigation tools will probably be a standard in a few years for new frames and shades. So design will maybe start following function and completely new forms will appear (as already described in our Trendletter 2012 on January 2012).
